OK this is a little personal as it is just about the darts that I like.

This page will expand over time with observations information. Maybe it will grow or it could get pruned.

The Unicorn Big Cliff Lazarenko dart

The Unicorn Big Cliff Lazarenko dart. Perfect! can’t get hold of them now unfortunately as Unicorn no longer sponsor Mr Lazarenko. So… what with one thing and another

1. My last set of Big Cliff darts going missing some time ago.
2. The accursed dartitis making me rethink my game from scratch.
3. Coming to terms with the dystonia.
4. Being unable to get a new set by any means.

The search is on for a replacement set. I believe that I have lately become even more concerned about the darts that I use as I always liked the Big Cliff darts and didn’t stop using them until they mysteriously disappeared at a match, my subsequent inability to find a replacement set while not in any way responsible for the fall or rise of my game on general terms is, I have to say a niggling annoyance that I would like to get rid of.

Here are the fist contenders for a replacement.

New Unicorn darts in comparison to the Big Cliff dart

At the top is the new gripper dart. Well you can easily see where the name comes from. Unfortunately far to rough for me, I think you can easily see why in comparison to the Big Cliff dart, yet almost mocking me with its familiar outline and proportion. So near and yet so far away!

At the bottom is a Catalyst dart, only 80% tungsten and again heavy on the grip side. Have to find something a bit more suitable to my preferences than what it currently in the catalogue.
I will keep on searching!
 
Sunday 31st and we have a new contender. This one is from Target Darts

Target Sport Dart

Would love to get a set of these in my hands to see if they feel as good as they look. I’m all for high quality darts equipment.

And now for something completely different

The Unicorn Sigma pro

The Unicorn Sigma dart, the most scientific dart in the world.
I haven’t had a chance to try some of these yet but if it is the most accurate dart in the world then it has to be worth trying.

The search is over and the ideal darts are now in my hands.

Thanks to the generosity of Unicorn Darts. I am now using a 23g Sigma pro dart. They are quite simply superb!
